Altar Servers are those who assist the priest during Mass. They do this by carrying the cross or candles, holding the book for the priest, and assisting him at the altar during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. This ministry is open to all those who have received their First Communion. Your main assignments would be on Sundays but you may volunteer for Holy Days of Obligation, weddings and funerals as well. Training is in the fall of each year or as needed on an individual basis.
